Technically a nut, we started producing hemp seed tempeh for the additional nutritional boost as well as the slightly nutty flavour. Rich in essential fatty acids omega 3 and 6, as well as a great source of vitamin e and minerals, adding them to tempeh seemed a logical variation, and it sells consistently well. Great cubed and fried in a little hemp oil as the basis of a buddha bowl, or added to a morning’s cooked breakfast in whatever way takes your fancy
